This Disturbing footage below appeared on Snapchat of two teenage girls, aged 13 and 14 years old, who fired a flaming aerosol can spray at a dog, trying to burn the poor defenseless animal.
The footage shows a girl shooting flames towards the dog in a backyard while her friend filmed the whole despicable thing on her phone.
The caption on Snapchat says:
The clip was then posted to Facebook and it was very quickly spread, police were alerted to the footage after it started to go viral.
Animal control went to the dog’s home on Sunday morning to start their investigation of the matter, the dog’s fur was singed, but thankfully its skin was not burned.
The two teens are not going to be named because of their age and also they have not been charged…
Guilford County Sheriff’s Office, Sergeant David Posten said:
“At this point, I have no idea what led up to the act. I just know what we saw with the video.”
He went on to say:
“We did find some small sign of injury, consistent of singed fur.”
And then said:
“These could be very serious charges, and because of that, we don’t rush into it.”
Authorities said the dog’s fur was burned during the incident but did not suffer serious injuries.
News reporters went to the teen’s home to ask her side of the story, but no one answered the door and as yet no one has commented publicly either.
